WFS 2022: 250 Veterans and Dependents Served in the month of December 

December 2022 was full of adventure as we prepared for our Warm Full Safe Christmas event for homeless and low-income veterans in Brevard. Our goal was to provide basic needs, meals, gifts, toys, and motel stays to low-income housed and homeless Veterans in Brevard on Christmas, as well as Financial Support for rent and utility payments to keep low-income housed Veteran families in their homes. We served 250 Veterans and Dependents in December.

These activities require a lot of collaboration with Community Partners, volunteers, Veteran Transitional Housing Facilities, and American Legion Riders Post 1, American Legion Riders Post 117, and American Legion Post 89 members to identify and deliver to all veteran families in need. As well as the numerous donations from the community and the American Legion Post 1 Riders who have been supporting this event for the past 12 years!
