How to Donate from Your DAF

Donating from your DAF is safe, easy, and fast. Follow these simple steps to make your charitable gift:

1. Select Your DAF Provider: Choose your DAF provider and log in directly to your account.
2. Check Your DAF Account Balance: Verify your available balance.
3. Enter Your Gift Amount: Specify the amount you wish to donate.
4. Provide Your Information: Enter your email and address info for the receipt.
5. Cover Processing Fees: Optionally, choose to cover the processing fee.
6. Leave a Note or Designation: If applicable, leave a note or designate your gift.
7. Submit Your Donation: Complete the donation process.

Upon making a donation, you can elect to receive an automatic grant request confirmation that will be sent to the email address you provided.

Our Impact

Your DAF donations have already made a significant difference. In 2023, NVHS made significant strides in assisting veterans and their families, with a 36% increase in total clients assisted compared to 2022. We supported 353 veterans and 191 of their family members through our Search and Rescue Program and Transitional Housing Program. Additionally, our efforts helped reduce the homeless veteran population in Brevard County by 90%, from 1,800 in 2008 to less than 200 in 2024. These donations help fund essential services like street outreach to find homeless veterans, preventing evictions through case management and financial assistance, and providing transitional housing. We also educate the public on Post Traumatic Stress and provide creative therapy events for our veterans, including arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and holiday-based activities to help reduce stress and foster a sense of belonging.
