NVHS, WFS 2014 Results – 49 Homeless veterans and 6 spouses were brought into hotels for two nights on Christmas Eve and Day, 11 needy veteran families were given financial assistance and gifts, including 13 children. 3 Veterans who were not comfortable leaving their belongings in the woods received gift cards and meals, and 21 additional children of low income veteran families received toys from an angel tree collection.
NVHS appreciates all the help we received in making this event possible from volunteerism, organizations, restaurants, and individual support. These homeless veterans and needy veteran families had a Christmas because of you!
