National Veterans Homeless Support Receives Record-Breaking Donation from Giant Recreation World
Winter Garden, Florida, 2/22/2024 – National Veterans Homeless Support (NVHS) is thrilled to announce a record-breaking donation of $45,897 from Giant Recreation World, our largest corporate donor since 2011..
Giant Recreation World, a leading provider of RVs and camping essentials, presented the donation at their corporate office in Winter Garden on January 30, 2024. The funds were raised by the passionate members of the VIP Camping Club throughout the year, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to supporting veterans in need.
“We are immensely proud of our VIP Camping Club members for their unwavering commitment to supporting our veterans,” said Mica Gratton, VIP Club Director at Giant Recreation World. “This donation to the National Veterans Homeless Support is a testament to the compassion and generosity of our community. Jennifer Taylor, Chief Operations Officer at NVHS, commented on the timely nature of the donation, “This donation comes at a crucial time as the cost of financial support for our homelessness prevention program is nearly double what we planned for in our annual budget. The case load was so high that we had to bring on additional staff to handle the higher than expected volume of requests.”
