Dear Supporters,

Yesterday, May 17, 2020 my father and the Founder and President of NVHS passed away at Advent Health Hospital in Orlando. The medical staff there was wonderful and worked tirelessly to try to save him following a heart attack last Thursday, but unfortunately he was too sick.

Words can not describe the impact his sudden and unexpected loss will have on this organization, his family, his friends, and the hundreds of veterans he helped off the streets and into homes of their own over his 12 years as the head of our small organization. His compassion for helping veterans in our community was unmatched and was inspiring to all who crossed his path. I join the dozens of people that texted or emailed me over the last few days in saying that his selflessness inspired them to be better versions of themselves; he will be deeply missed by so many.

One thing is for certain, those of us remaining will not let his mission to Eliminate Homelessness Among Veterans in Central Florida pass with him; our resolve will be stronger than ever.

Thank you for your past and future support, together we will achieve my father’s life’s mission.

Sincerely,
