Florida Department of the American Legion presented a award for our late Founder and President George Taylor Sr for his work eliminating homelessness among veterans in Central Florida to his son and current President, George Taylor Sr, Programs Director Jennifer Taylor, and Board Member Al “Gunner” Dudley, at their State Convention in Orlando, Florida July 2, 2021. The award reads: In Grateful¬†Recognition of George Taylor Sr. For the significant impact he has made to eliminate homelessness amongst veterans in Central Florida. His legacy, vision, and dedication continue through his family and will be remembered by many generations to come.
