During Warm Full Safe 2018 NVHS came across a disabled female veteran named Brittany McCollum who is living at Aspire Health Partners Transitional Housing, in Cocoa, FL . We learned she has two young children and is attending college to strengthen her families future, but although her mom had let her use her vehicle from time to time it wasn’t always available. With reliable transportation being her biggest obstacle NVHS knew she was a perfect candidate to receive a donated Ford Expedition. After helping her with Financial Support to get car insurance and the title transferred into her name we are happy to share that she now has reliable transportation for her and her family!
