Thanksgiving for Homeless Veterans & Their Families.

We plan on feeding around 300 people.

Food drop off =*NOTE: The NVHS Office has been closed for Hurricane Repairs, please deliver to 511 Gilbert St, Titusville

Delivery Hours: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm on Tuesday & Thursday.

For  Melbourne locations please call the NVHS Office to schedule.

Perishable Items = Drop off starting on Monday 11/20 – Wednesday 11/22 OR bring with you Thanksgiving morning but please call ahead of time, so we know what you are bringing.

Volunteers are needed to help package the meals on Thanksgiving morning at 511 Gilbert St. Titusville, FL from 7am-10am. Drivers Needed: To help deliver the meals to veterans and their families. There are no set hours you have to volunteer, anytime you can come and help would be greatly appreciated.

 

WHAT WE NEED=

Turkey’s= 25 (WE NEED BY MONDAY 11/20 if they’re NOT cooked)

Dinner Rolls = about 500

Already prepared fresh pies (bought or homemade) = about 40

Mixed Greens = 40 (27 oz. cans)

Corn = 10 cans (6.3 pound cans)

Yams = 15 cans (7 pound cans)

Boxed Mashed Potatoes = 10 boxes

Bottles of Turkey Gravy = about 50 bottles

Butter = 8-10 pounds

Styrofoam “Togo” containers = 300

Lawry’s seasoning

Aluminum Foil

Aluminum Trays

Large Crockpots to heat up gravy = need 2

Roasters to heat up food = need 9

Charcoal
