NVHS’ mission is to prevent and eliminate homelessness among veterans in Central Florida. Watch this video from the recent “Rescuing Veterans Lost In America Gala.” It tells the story of 3 veterans impacted by NVHS.
Stories like these were repeated 423 times, which is the number of veterans we assisted in 2021. This represents a 30% increase in clients needing NVHS assistance, but thanks to generous supporters NVHS did not turn any veteran away due to a wait list or budget!
While we’ve helped many, 4600 veterans still live in poverty in Brevard County according to the 2020 census. We need support more than ever to tackle today’s homelessness and the affordable housing crisis.
