At 73, Marine veteran Timothy had been living in the woods for nearly a year. Discouraged after falling through the cracks of the VA system, he was out of options—until he found NVHS.

Our outreach team connected him with a VA caseworker, helped him secure healthcare and housing, and provided the essentials to furnish his new apartment.

Now, Timothy is living safely in permanent housing, attending his medical appointments, staying sober, and—perhaps most meaningfully—reconnected with his wife.
